USAT, found online on USAT.io, is a non-profit organization that finances, develops and implements technologies that improve the world. Find out how they performed today in our review.
The American Association of Scientists of Technology Inc., or USAT, is an Australian organization that uses the Utoken digital currency. Utoken ICO will start selling on February 15, 2018.
Basically, by joining USAT's Utoken token, you are buying a portion of the company's intellectual property. The company holds two Australian patents related to the use of solar energy. When you buy Utokens, you are buying a percentage of all current and future patents held by the company. USAT obtained a patent from an Australian research company called AIHEM. Token sales for Utokens start on February 15th 2018.
(ICO USAT')
USAT issues 1.525 billion Utokens. Each Utoken represents the common property of all current and future patents and trade secrets stored in the USAT archives. The token has a value of $ 0.04 in the period prior to the ICA, up to $ 0.20 at the end of the ICO. The sale of tokens will start with a pre-sale on February 15, 2018. The ICO should continue until June 15, 2018. You can contribute to the sale of the token through ETH.
Of the 1.525 billion Utokens, 50% is distributed to ICO investors. The remaining codes are for USAT Inc. (35%) and the Fund (15%). Of the money collected during the token sale, 75% will be allocated to product development, including marketing and development of various USAT patents. The remaining funds will be used for the USAT support group (20% for IT and ICO developers, as well as for legal, accounting, marketing and PR consultants), marketing (2%) and operations (3%). USAT is trying to raise $ 76 million (!) Through token sales.
(What kind of patent does the USAT own')
USAT claims to have a large archive of other valuable trade secrets and IP. They also argue that more proposals are coming down regularly along the AIHEM pipeline.
However, the USAT report shows that the company owns only two patents. Both are Australian patents:
(Patent n. AU 2017100315')
This patent is "a multilayer material that converts solar radiation into kinetic energy of a liquid". Basically, it describes a method and a device that converts solar energy into electricity through a solar wind farm.
(Patent AU 201710410')
This patent mentions "the recovery of residual heat for cogeneration in solar wind farms". This is the product of waste heat from computers and other electronic equipment, then converted into electricity.
In general, the official USAT report describes these patents as a valuable technology for the future generation of electricity. They allow customers to reduce electricity production costs and become completely independent energy suppliers.
